galleries. With 19 out of the 20 selected exhibitors not having shown in
Art Feature last year, the sector's dynamic selection ensures a fresh mix of
galleries and thus continues as a space for the discovery of new talent. Chosen
from over 200 applications, this year's sector includes galleries from Brazil,
China, Europe, South Africa, and the United States. ]]></description>

              <description><![CDATA[An outstanding private collection of modern and contemporary art is coming to the Kunsthaus Zürich, thanks to a new agreement with the Fondation Hubert Looser. Focusing on Abstract Expressionism, Minimal Art and Arte Povera, the Looser Collection will be exhibited in the Kunsthaus extension on long-term loan from 2017, and will ideally complement the museum’s own holdings.]]></description>

Between Bohemia and Bourgeoisie: The Early Years at the Kunstmuseum Basel will focus on the underappreciated early work of the great painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919). Fifty paintings—portraits, landscapes, and still lifes, among them masterworks from the collections of major museums such as the Musee d’Orsay, Paris, the National Gallery, London, the Metropolitan Museum, New York, and the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as virtually unknown works from private collections, form a magnificent panorama of the formative years of Renoir’s art.]]></description>

              <description><![CDATA[What is little known to date is that Hermann Hesse, one of the most widely read German language
authors, also produced an immense number of drawings and paintings. Together
with the Hermann Hesse Museum in Montagnola, the Kunstmuseum Bern is presenting the
first comprehensive retrospective of Hermann Hesse’s artistic oeuvre to commemorate the
50th anniversary of the death of this famous author and artist. ]]></description>
